My poor unfortunate souls, I must be frank. I need to tell you how utterly unfortunate the curse of plastic has become for my beautiful ocean home. The entire Atlantic Kingdom have been experiencing an invasion of plastic jellyfish and pseudo plankton. Bits of plastic get into the ocean and break into smaller and smaller pieces in the waves and sand. Those little bits of plastic often are mistaken as yummy plankton and eaten by fishes and baby turtles. Balloons, plastic bags, fishing line and boat lines all are made out of plastics and when tumbled and tied by Triton’s waves those items start to look an awful lot like sweet gooey jellyfish. To help keep the Atlantic Kingdom plastic debris free, try to limit the plastics you buy/use by using reusable water bottles and shopping bags. Tell you waiter “no straws please” and always pick up trash, even if it is not yours. You can also follow me on my journey and help me spread the word! I know my friends at Disney will have my back, er, shell!
I was named by my Sponsor,
